Our Story

(n)Torus Technologies, a Scottsdale, Arizona based company, was created to solve the critical challenges publishers face with monetizing premium digital content. In the early days of video being delivered online, we saw the enormous opportunities that would emerge with providing consumers access to content wherever and whenever they desired through PCs, mobile devices, IP Connected TVs, game consoles, and many other devices that didn’t even exist at the time. We also recognized the substantial economic problems these consumer options would present for the traditional companies in the ecosystem. In early 2008, we set out on a journey to build new models and methods for Publishers to more effectively monetize their content while operating in a new World with a whole new set of rules around digital media.

In 2009, (n)Torus Technologies was the first company to offer major publishers and broadcasters the ability to allow consumers to watch ads, earns credits and apply those credits towards watching premium content uninterrupted. We called this new ad experience BreakFree™. The results proved consumers engaged with advertisers in a much more meaningful way when they had control of which ads they watched and when they watched them. We were very pleased with the enhanced value we provided Publishers, Advertisers and consumers; however, after spending countless hours with major publishers and listening to their immediate challenges, we realized that we could do more. Publishers asked us to expand our product to support more than just BreakFree™; we listened and started our work again.

For more than 2 years, (n)Torus Technologies worked with Publishers to build a premium enterprise-class digital advertising platform that solves Publishers challenges. The result of our extensive hours listening, designing, collaborating and challenging every workflow and Publisher process is a platform solution that is more advanced, more intelligent, and more comprehensive in its abilities than any other on the market.

We will not stop here. We are dedicated ad technologists that continue to break down the inefficiencies in the market to provide Publishers and Advertisers with superior products and answers to the industry’s biggest challenges. The future of media is exciting and full of potential with the right partners. (n)Torus Technologies is a digital ad technology partner that every Publisher and Advertiser should want on their side.
